My Story

Ashlynn is our 5 year old daughter. She is a lively, tomboy who loves to help her parents and two siblings on their farm in Nebraska. She loves animals and the outdoors and is always on the go! Our entire world was turned upside down on Dec 18, 2014. Ashlynn was preparing for her Christmas Program at school when the Dr's office called and told us to come back right away. She was transported from our home in Nebraska to Rocky Mountain Children's Hospital in Denver, Colorado (the closest Pediatric Oncology Center). She was diagnosed with B-Cell ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia). Her Leukemia has a rare gene marker that requires very aggressive treatment over the next 3 years. Our family will be traveling back and forth between Nebraska and Colorado and often times will have to be separated as Ashlynn undergoes longer treatments in the hospital. We appreciate your thoughts, prayers, and support as our family continues down this road to heal our beautiful daughter.
