My Story

Addison was diagnosed in 2010 with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at the age of 5. Though our journey has been long and arduous, it has also been full of amazing moments and new friends. Addison came from an acting family so when he was asked by Children's Hospital to do training videos for the staff, he and his sister were thrilled to help out. From there, they began to ask him to speak at various events and then his speaking world snowballed to 110 speeches including a highlight where he was asked to speak in Maine for the Pan Mass Challenge.   As a speaker at a recent medical conference, a nurse asked him what he would change about his journey if he could. He said, "I would have cancer all over again." ADDISON will be shaving in honor of his Shining Stars Aspen Winter Games roomate DALLIN who died of brain cancer less than a year after camp ended. You can google Addison Kleinhans to see some of his crazy adventures and we would love if you would like to join our journey on his Facebook Page: HELP ADDISON KICK THIS THING! Thank you! 38 months of chemo has left Addison with a compromised immune system so he believes we need some new medications that aren't so harmful in the long run.
