My son had a tiny bump behind his knee that got big very fast and so I took him to hospital and they took biopsy and they came back with the worse news my son had a rare cancer!! Its all moved fast we went in for all different tests and had to go to Dana Farbar in Boston because they were stumped on him having this type of cancer as it's not usually found in boys. So they gave him the most aggressive chemotherapy for two months, rechecked him and found 6 more tumors in his leg. We had to amputate his leg above his knee Nov 19th 2014. Then Dec 17th he got a bad infection and they reopened his stump where they had him hooked up to a vacuum to get the infection out. We finally went home Xmas eve!! So its healing and we just stated chemotherapy Feb 25 2015 again!!! My son has been through sooo much and stronger then me! He's known as Superman Kenny!!! He's my hero.
