My Story
Jazmine is a beautiful, active, spirited three-year-old! Her laugh is infectious, and you can't help but smile around her. She loves playing outside, getting dirty, Peppa Pig, and dancing. Jazmine also has a genetic condition called Neurofibromatosis. While having a baseline brain MRI in November of 2013, tumors were found on her optic nerves.
We took a wait-and-see approach for a few months, but when her ophthalmologist found vision changes in March of 2014, Jazmine underwent a port placement surgery and began chemo the same day. Our hopes are to stabilize the tumors and preserve her vision and eye function.
Jazmine is now almost a year into her treatment plan with Carboplatin and Vincristine. She is handling the weekly chemo treatments like a rockstar! She is a true hero and brave as can be!
Thank you for supporting Jazmine and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
