My Story
Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
My daughter at 19 months was diagnosed with Bi-Lateral Wilms Tumors (tumors in both kidneys). She was not diagnosed just once but 3 times. She went through 400 chemotherapy treatments where 180 were adult chemos and 7 radiation treatments. She is the "only child in the world" to have bi-lateral Wilms tumors to occur 3 times. She is a fighter and my angel.
So many people through her voyage of cancer have come out to assist us when we needed them and not as Ashley stated "it is our turn to pay it forward." I am so proud that she will be shaving her hair in March with her school.
To this day she still fights with short term memory loss, ptsd, severe anxiety, bi-polar, ADHD, compulsive, impulsive disorders and scholiosis. This does not stop her because she plays volleyball, basketball, softball, Irish dances, and is a Singing Angel.
