My Story

After 6 months of complaining of stomach aches a 4 am trip to the er found us in the back of an ambulance being rushed to a pediatric hospital two hours away. After surgery, Eve was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and underwent chemo. Eve is now almost 2 years cancer free! We still hold our breath every time she has fever or complains of a stomach ache, but as time goes on - that will get better too. We as a family have participated in every study the hospital has asked us to in order to help further the research on pediatric germ cell tumors/ cancer. It's important to us to help further pediatric cancer research so that every diagnosis has a positive outcome!
