Eve was diagnosed with high-risk Medulloblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer that had spread to the base of her spine. Soon after her 6th birthday, she decided to cute 12 inches of her hair for "a little girl that needs it". A few weeks later, she was that little girl. Eve underwent tumor resection at Cornell NY-Presbyterian in NYC, followed by proton-beam radiation at Procure in Somerset, NJ, followed by months of high-dose chemotherapies at MSKCC in Manhattan, where she is still cared for and supported by her team today. Despite all the hardship she has endured, Eve is a resilient warrior and finds meaning and beauty in the moments, big and small, that life gives to her. The plight of these brave children is made hopeful with the awareness, dedication, and support of St. Baldrick's, whose funding helps immensely.
