My Story
Emma was diagnosed with neuroblastoma in 2010 at age 3. She bravely endured more than 4 years of treatment before earning her angel wings in September 2014. Emma was a happy, energetic and funny little girl who loved to dance and sing, wear fluffy tutus and cover her world with sparkles. Her smile could light up a room...and her smile was something that nothing, not even cancer, could take away from her. Emma will always be remembered for her kind and generous heart, a contagious giggle and a smile that lit up her eyes. She always looked for the bright side of life...even when things got hard. She went through things no one her age should have to endure and she did it with bravery and a positive attitude. Emma loved watching her big brother shave his head after helping him raise money to support St. Baldrick's and she would be thrilled to know she will forever be an "honored kid."
