In August 2012, part of Wing-sze’s buttock and intestinal tissue were found to be necrotic due to scarlet fever and needed to be surgically removed. Six months later she was diagnosed with Leukaemia. She needs to go through a series of painful chemotherapy, but Wing-sze did not say “no” to these challenges.
She even develops her own self-help methods to ease the pain by making arts & crafts and playing games. From time to time, she learns to cooperate with the medical staff with a smile.
“I hope other patients can face the same challenge without fear and bravely win the battle against childhood cancer,”
