My Story

Leah was diagnosed with stage iv neuroblastoma March 13, 2013. She is on the final stretch of treatment and due to finish July 2014. Between the variety of her treatments she has rode horses, slid down slides, gone fishing, fed deer, held baby kittens, sprayed her brother with a garden hose, baked cupcakes, harassed numerous family members about her stinky toes, jumped on her bed and has done lots of other things that only Leah finds joy in doing. She has never let us forget she is a kid and needs to do kid things. We don't refer to her as the Princess of Power for nothing!
