Born August 5, 1997, died blissfully on March 2, 2015. Leyla was a student of life. Leyla mastered the Art of Living. Proof of her mastery is shown through lives impacted and the love she inspires. Since her diagnosis with a brain tumor in 2012, Leyla embarked on a journey. On this adventure Leyla became a published author, traveled extensively, and photographed these experiences and people she loved along the way. She experienced falling in love. Leyla was loved by many, even some who never had the privilege of meeting her. In this time both Leyla and her family have been comforted and inspired by the extensive village that has surrounded and embraced them.
