My Story

Paxton was diagnosed on April 3rd, 2013 with Leukemia (ALL). We took him to his pediatrician because his color was off and that one blood panel changed everything. He has made it through this past year of front line treatment with grace, patience and an amazing spirit. Paxton has just started maintenance chemo which will last close to 3 years. 3 YEARS. As an adult it doesn't seem that long, we don't change much. But 3 years for a child is an eternity. Robbed of what we thought his early childhood would be like in a single day. We are forever grateful if you participate in St. Baldrick's in Paxton's honor. Shaving your head is bold and brave, yet only the smallest of gestures towards absorbing the bravery that these children face every day. By helping raise money for children's cancer research you will not only help save lives but you will help save years. Many many years lost to these children stricken with cancer. Thank you thank you thank you! Be Bold! Be Brave! Speak Loudly!
