My Story

Alina  was diagnosed on her 4th birthday, completed treatment a year later and enjoyed remission for 4 years. She had two relapses since then and was considered incurable at the time. Thanks to new studies, she has been able to enjoy another 5 years NED. The last study was funded by St. Baldrick's, and she was able to stay close to home and fully embrace high school. Coming up on her 17th birthday, she is off treatment for the first time in 6 years!
