My Story
After battling a fever and pneumonia for 3 weeks, we realized there was a much bigger problem. Dylan was diagnosed with leukemia just two months into his 4th grade year. We quickly began treatment, but Dylan had several rare side effects and we almost lost him within the first 30 days of his treatment.
We did make it through the hardest part of leukemia. One of the chemotherapy medications caused tremendous pains, making it necessary to make use a wheelchair and a walker. Physical therapy made a huge difference!
Dylan is now in the maintenance phase of treatment and has two more years of this to go.
Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
