Nathaniel is an energetic, playful four year old that one and one half years ago was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia. Then, he was a very lethargic, miserable child that didn't enjoy life. With the treatment that he is receiving, he is thriving and is finally starting to enjoy the things that a normal four year old does. Nathaniel LOVES fire trucks, Legos, and trying to keep up with his five siblings. His diagnosis changed our world forever, but, as I say, if we hadn't experienced this, we wouldn't have learned of and met so many amazing organizations and people. Nathaniel and all of us have learned to not take anything for granted, and to realize that this is our "new normal." Together we are battling this - the good and the bad, and know that we are part of a bigger picture.
Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
