My Story
Before my diagnosis, college and my future was the only thing that truly defined me. The actual day I was diagnosed, all that changed. My health had to become a priority and school made second in my story. I was afraid that the people that once saw me as a hero and as a role model were going to give up on me because I had a life-threatening disease. Well I was completely wrong. My siblings and little cousins put me on a higher pedestal than ever before. It has been an honor continue being a role model for the people that care the most about me.
