I'm Drew and I'm 3. I was diagnosed with Leukemia 9 days before I turned 3 and had to have my birthday in the hospital in Tennessee. My family moved from New York to Tennessee to be close to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital for my 2.5-3yr treatment.
I like Tennessee but I miss my family in NY and I wish it would snow here because I want to make a snowman.
Somedays are normal and I can play with my little sister Layla (1.5yr), but some days are hard and my body hurts so I only want Mommy to carry me around. When I'm at my best I'm usually dancing around listening to music. (Favorite songs recently are "Roar" and "I want to see you be Brave").
When I grow up I want to play the piano so I practice playing on Mommy's phone.
Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
Thank you,
Drew
