My Story

Patrick Betters was diagnosed with Stage III Non Hodgkin’s T-Cell Lymphoma on September 18, 2006. Patrick has received over 5 cycles of chemo, 4 surgeries, including a lung biopsy and 25% lung removal, over 10 procedures, and two weeks of radiation. As of January 23, 2009, he has been in remission. Since the beginning of treatment, he have made it his goal to make sure that no other childhood cancer patients ever has to feel alone again. Through speaking at events, volunteering for various non-profit foundations, and writing a personal blog (www.clubcancerblog.org), Patrick is doing what he can to make a difference in the lives of childhood cancer patients.
