Michael Schubert was diagnosed at the age of 20 with Fibrolamellor (fibro-la-mel-lar) Hepatocellular Carcinoma, a very rare form of liver cancer that typically occurs in teens and young adults with no history of liver disease. Very little is known about the disease, how to treat it, and why it affects young people. Additional research is critically needed to develop a chemotherapy to save the lives of the young individuals that are afflicted by this cancer. To learn more about the disease, go to the Fibrolamellar Cancer Foundation: http://www.fibrofoundation.org
