Savanna had just competed in her first horse show in Raleigh riding Western. it was cold and rainy but she and Lucy gave em all a good run for the money, She was feeling tired and sick Saturday night and just never seemed to bounce back. Sabrina was wise enough to get her to a doctor who later told us to get her to Brenner's. Here we go again. Fourteen years earlier our son Dillon was diagnosed with Burkitt's Lymphoma. He is a survivor, How could this happen to her too? She's going to fight! She's strong too. We can beat cancer....again! Our question now is, why? In an age of so much technology and wealth, why does this disease still exist? Why do children and families still have to spend Christmas in a hospital? Let's find the answers and say no more!!!
Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
