My Story

Meera has always been a very bright child since day one. Super happy, friendly, outgoing, friendly, smiley, giggly. Never really being around many kids before having her I didn't realize she really did exceed milestones. Her vocabulary, her thought process, even her size all made her seem much older then she was at the time. Her wise beyond her years persona has been her point of strength throughout treatment. She could understand (to a certain degree) why we were putting her through what we did. And more so now that she's older. Meera has grown immensely from her diagnosis at 22 months old to her current age, 3 and a half. Knowing that she can conquer those incredibly dark days, STILL laughing and smiling throughout it all, inspires many people on a daily basis. "If this beautiful little girl can live happily through the dark times, why am I sweating the small stuff??" Meera is an absolute MEERAcle to us all, and we couldn't be more thankful to have her in our lives.
