My Story
Our daughter, Sofia was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia two weeks after her 2nd birthday-November 7th, 2010. We were absolutely devastated and heartbroken, but had to embark on this journey nonetheless. In the past 2 ½ years, our daughter has been the most brave and strong and resilient little girl. She has taught us life lessons on how to be courageous and how to have hope and faith. She has taught us that chemotherapy and medicine are a huge part of treatment, but love and family and friends and support all play a tremendous role in treatment too. We hope people will be inspired by Sofia and all that she is and will grow to be. Sofia is fighting and she is winning.
