In June 2012 we began to notice a bump on the top of our youngest daughter, Esther's, head. One June 22, 2012 she was diagnosed with a stage IV, high risk solid tumor cancer called Neuroblastoma. Esther endured 6 rounds of chemotherapy, a stem cell harvest, surgery, a stem cell transplant, 20 radiation treatments, finished her treatment with 6 months of immunotherapy. Immunotherapy is something that has given kids with neuroblastoma a significantly greater chance at cure, and it's something that came about by great research. We support St. Baldrick's because they support research that is saving kids' lives.
