My Story
Our son Mason was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma on October 4, 2012, he had just turned 18 months the week before. Mason showed no symptoms prior to his diagnosis. The cancer was found after he was admitted to the hospital for observation after a reaction to the flu vaccine which had been administered at his 18 month well visit. We were informed that our little boy had a plum sized primary abdominal tumor originating in his left adrenal gland which had already metastasized to his skull, left femur and left fifth rib.
Mason is now 5 years old. He finished his frontline treatment protocol in November 2013. He has shown remarkable strength and has been an ever constant source of joy to our family.
By donating to St. Baldricks you most definitely will be helping children like our son and we can't thank you enough.
