REECE is a fighter from the word go. In 2010 we heard the words that are only in parents nightmares....and just like that those words became our reality. Reece was diagnosed with a Wilms tumor(kidney cancer). His left kidney was removed and following that came 10 rounds of radiation, 10 rounds of chemotherapy, countless blood and platelet transfusions, over 40 days in the hospital for neutrapenic fevers and too many pokes and port accesses to count! In April 2011 our sweet baby boy rang the bell and with that came the sounds of freedom for our sweet blonde headed baby boy! We are praising God that Reece is cancer free!
