I was diagnosed with Parosteal Osteosarcoma on August 1st 2012. I had a major surgery to remove the 2 pound tumor that was growing out of my eighth rib. My doctor also had to remove my eighth rib and part of my seventh and ninth rib. So far I have been blessed not to have to go through chemo or radiation. I have to have MRIs every 3 months. I have received a lot of support from my family, friends, and my Greenville Gladiator teammates. My teachers and principle have been keeping a good eye on me while I'm at school. I am healing from my surgery and getting stronger everyday.
Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
