My Story
Benjamin was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor (AT-RT) when he was 2 weeks old. He is now nearing his 6th birthday. Through 20 rounds of chemotherapy, a round of high dose chemotherapy with stem cell rescue, and 2 separate rounds of proton radiation therapy, he remains a happy and thriving little boy. Ben's most recent scan (November 13, 2013) showed no signs of disease.
It is because of organizations like St. Baldrick's that Ben has been able to fight this terrible disease. With the funding provided through research grants, doctors are able to discover new and innovative ways treat cancer. So please, get involved and help today.
