Drew is a very active 11yr old who loves baseball and video games. He has such a likable lovable personality, never meets a stranger.
He became ill in September of 2010 losing weight, throwing up and having been diagnosed with reflux. I finally asked for a complete physical and was told he had an enlarged testicle. Then we were sent for an ultrasound and the doctor tried not to scare us but made it very clear we needed to be in contact with our dr asap.
From that we were scheduled for surgery and referred to ST Jude. First with a diagnosis of Rhabdomyosarcoma due to it being a soft tissue cancer and within a few days was changed to A.L.L. with testicular involvement.
