Adam is an amazing boy! He continues to touch the lives of many with his "can do spirit" and warm personality.
At the age of 9 months, doctors at the University of Iowa Children's Hospital in Iowa City discovered a cancerous tumor in Adam's left forearm. Pathology confirmed it was extraosseous Ewing Sarcoma. Adam was just 1 yr. old when he lost his left forearm due to the cancerous tumor. Cancer may have taken his arm, but not his spirit!
Today, Adam is an outgoing, healthy 11 year old boy. He enjoys basketball, football, four-wheeling, swimming, and hanging out with his family and friends. There really isn't anything he can't do!
