Bennett is an adorable, strong, and energetic two year old boy! He loves airplanes, tractors, and playing at the park. If you didn't know Bennett's story already, you would never guess that this little guy has cancer. Almost one year ago, on April 9th, 2011, Bennett was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (A.L.L.). He has received more than 100 pokes to his body, 16 blood transfusions,, 15 lumbar punctures, and more than 40 different doses of chemotherapy at the cancer clinic in addition to the daily chemo he receives at home. He knows more about hospitals, doctors, chemotherapy and side effects than most people do in a lifetime. Thankfully, Bennett has responded well to his treatment and is now back to playing with his friends, and digging in the sandbox at the park. He is our hero!
