My Story

In March of 2006 Ethan was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (A.L.L). His diagnosis was completely unexpected and sent our family into shock and disbelief. Especially since a cousin of Ethan's was diagnosed with the same disease about 8 months prior. Over the next 3 years Ethan would undergo chemotherapy and multiple procedures that no child should have to endure. It has been almost 3 years since Ethan completed his therapy and he continues to be cancer free. Ethan is an active 8 year old boy who enjoys all sports, particularly hockey. Ethan likes to go camping and fishing with his family and spends as much time as possible in the outdoors. Ethan and his younger brother, Evan, love to play with their chocolate lab, Molly. Ethan excels in school and has become quite the avid reader, enjoying the book series "Diary of a Whimpy Kid."
