My Story
On October 29 Brandon was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma. It is a muscle cancer and it is very rare to find it in young children. The cancer was found in the left eyelid and he had surgery at Jefferson Hospital to remove the tumor. Now he is going to Alfred I. duPont Children's hospital for his weekly chemo treatments. The good news is that the cancer did not spread, it was only contained to the orbit of his eye. Please keep Brandon in your prayers.
Now Brandon is continuing to go to duPont for his chemo treatment and will be getting proton radiaition treatment at University of Pennsylvania. After he completes his treatment in November, Brandon will continue to be blood tested every year until the age of 21 for cancer, after that we can truly say Brandon will be cancer free.
