At only the age of 6, Brock is going through the fight of his life. In Oct of 2011, he was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor pressing on his brain stem. The tumor was successfully removed but due to cerebral mutism, Brock is relearning how to walk, talk, write, and can’t be the energetic boy he was. Missing his first year of kindergarten and playing baseball with his friends, this 6 year old is undergoing radiation, chemotherapy, and rehabilitation. He will need continuous monitoring to make sure his cancer does not return. Even after going through all this, Brock is still a strong, independent, positive little boy who can’t wait to get back to keeping up with his friends. He is bringing so many wonderful people together all in support of such an important cause. We all must help to find a cure!
