Preston started out as a healthy baby and started becoming ill at 9 months old with monthly sinus infections and high fevers. It wasn't until November of 2011 that they discovered he had some form of Leukemia but were unsure on the type. On December 5th 2011, we met with a doctor in Kansas City and confirmed a diagnose of JMML, a rare form of Leukemia. Preston received his unrelated bone marrow transplant on February 16th.
Preston can't wait to return to the outside world as a healthy 4 year old boy. He has a long to do list. Things we don't think twice about. He loves swimming, going to the lake, riding his bike, bowling, skating and playing with his brothers. Most of all Preston loves being around his family.
