Chloe was a girly girl. She loved pink. She had been such a trooper during her cancer journey. She was in remission, thanks to a cord blood transplant, but sadly, on June 12, 2008, our Amazing Chloe (at the young age of 7) became an Amazing Angel. She battled leukemia for nearly 3 and a half yrs. (Dx: 1-25-05) We miss her soooo much, but are so thankful for the time we had her. Cancer is a beast, and we hope and pray that a cure will be found SOON.
Chloe received her care at Kosair Childrens Hospital in Louisville, KY. The dr's were great, but it was her nurses who took such great care of her day in a day out. The nurses of 7 west are absolutely wonderful! We have met many wonderful people throughout Chloe's cancer journey. There are way too many children fighting this disease, we are so hopeful there will one day be a CURE!
