My Story

Eli is a beautiful 4 year old boy who has been defying the odds and is beating his disease. He was diagnosed on his 2nd birthday with a solid tumor in his neck called Rhabdoid Tumor. Although his tumor is rare, it is my hope that the money raised through this organization will go towards funding some of the more elusive types of cancer. Eli has finished treatment which included 9 rounds of intense chemotherapy, and 31 days of proton beam radiation. We are in the monitoring stage now and are getting MRI's every 3 months. The tumor has shrunk significantly and we pray that it stays away. He loves his older sister Ava and younger brother Evan, trains, watching movies, playing the iPad and Wii. We are strengthened every day by his strength. His progress can be followed at www.caringbridge.org/visit/eliweisheit
