My Story
Daphny was diagnosed with ALL and sent from Fairbanks, Alaska to Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah in April 2005. She recieved treatment in Utah until we could make arrangements with Providence Hospital in Anchorage and could come home. Her last chemo was June 17th, 2007!
Now we travel to Anchorage every 6 months for post chemo labs and check-ups. Her other work-up is done here in Fairbanks.
Daphny is an amazing girl! She is almost a 3 year survivor!! She is very compassionate toward others in pain. She recognizes the bravery of others and gets strength from them, as well as inspiring everyone she meets. She loves going to 4th grade, reading, playing the flute, math, writing stories and going to ACS Camp Goodtimes with other cancer kids every summer. She has a webpage at www.carepages.com page name "DaphnyDunn"
** From Daphny:**
I come back from camp super happy and ready to be back. I love shaving people's heads! I once shaved a teacher's head at school!! I hope other who are suffering a cancer to try to stay happy and positive. I hope the money that we earn works well towards medicine for other children.
