Our 15 year old daughter, Kelly, was diagnosed in July, 2007, with Glioblastoma Multiforme, a grade 4 brain tumor. After more than a year of 4 surgeries, radiation, chemo,a recurrence, gamma knife, and a new chemo protocol, her MRIs at this time are clear, but she continues on chemotherapy indefinitely since this is a grade 4 tumor. We feel grateful that we are still in the fight and she is doing so well. Throughout her journey, her attitude remains positive and cheerful. We are learning a lot from her. Kelly has a twin sister and a younger sister who is 11. We are doing what we can to bring more awareness and funding to childhood cancer.
Kelly is the sweetest chick in the world. She loves Disney, tea, harry potter, marine animals. Let's be real. Kelly is the best.
