Before diagnosed with Brain Tumour Germinoma, Saimon was very active boy who was 14 years old and studying in form 2 at Matteo Ricci College. He participated in basketball team and athletic team in school.
In November 2010, Saimon was admitted in Queen Elizabeth Hospital for the reason that he fell down 3 times in our toilet. By that time for what I knew he was only suffering from Hemiplegia,ie. a weakness of his right part of the body.
After two days admitted in hospital, the doctor found out that he had a Brain Tumour after scanning. I was so scared and shocked after I was told so.I really don't know what to do.
Thanks for Mrs. De Manny and Mrs. Zinke, they were in my side and helped me a lot when I needed them most. Saimon took 4 shots of chemotheraphy and 20 times of Radiotheraphy which are all done by this time. According to Medical Officer in Charge Dr. Chang Kai-On, the Tumour was gone. Saimon is getting better now.
Finally, we are waiting for the schedule of MRI.
