Chase was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on March 26th, 2009. He was seven years old at the time. He spent 7 weeks in Memphis Tennessee at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital for Induction. He is currently on week 98 of 120 of maintenance. He goes to Peoria to the St. Jude Midwest affiliate every Tuesday for chemo in his port. He also takes chemo every night in a pill form. His last chemo treatment is scheduled to be October 18, 2011. It has been a long journey but we have met many wonderful people along the way.
Chase enjoys camping and fishing. His favorite color is blue. He loves to play video games and he is quit good at them. He has gone to Camp Invention for the past two years and has really enjoyed that as well. He is a very lovable and polite young man. He is years beyond is age for everything he has been through. Chase has a very good personality and is quite hilarious often known as the class clown.
