My name is Brooke Hokulani Simon and I am 19 years old. I was born and raised on the island of Oahu in the beautiful state of Hawaii. I have a younger brother, Branden, who is 13 years old and two amazing parents Blake and Joy. I am a very outgoing and friendly person who loves to have a good time with friends and make everyone around me smile. I love to play sports, particularly volleyball and basketball, as well spending the day at the beach with friends. I am a nerd at heart so school plays a big role in my life. I am currently pursuing a degree in Elementary Education, but I am slowly transitioning into Nursing.
Through my entire experience with cancer, I could not have made it without the love and support of my family and friends, as well as the amazing doctors, nurses, and staff at the Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children. They have truly impacted my life in a wonderful way and I couldn't have asked for more.
