My Story
Lindsey touched the lives of everyone who met her with her captivating personality and sparkling smile. When she was just 9 years old, she was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma. She underwent 9 months of chemo/radiation, lost her beautiful hair and missed many days of school. But she never complained -- she kept a smile on her face and remained focused on homework, dance, soccer, and spending time with those she loved. She was treatment free for 2 months when her cancer returned and again was put through more chemo/radiation. Sadly, she lost her 18-month fight and passed away on November 28, 2010. Lindsey is truly missed by so many: however, her joyful spirit, positive attitude and determination continue to be an inspiration to all.
