Gabriel from the time he was born was the greatest baby. Always in a good mood and well mannered baby. He loved his parents and loved to smile and laugh. I could of never had asked for a better baby for being a first time mom. He was very smart, sweet, and funny. When he wanted to eat he would definitely let me know! He was diagnosed in August of 2000. They found 2 tumors in the center of his brain. He was air lifted to Duke Children's Hospital where they proceeded to do emergency brain surgery. They removed them, but one was imbedded and could not get all. More tumers would grow and would be removed. The last one grew on his lungs, they informed us that they could try one more round of chemo, but it was so aggressive that if it didn't work, he would pass. Even through chemo he still always smiled and laughed. . My little hero passed away on November 29, 2000. I miss him deeply, he is the best thing that ever happened to me in my life, and will always remember what he went through and never showed the pain. Mommy loves and misses you Gabe!
