Ryan was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on May 9, 2010. He experienced a lot of unhealed bruising and tired easily. Upon being diagnosed he has undergone intensive chemo treatments, spinal taps, and many many trips to the clinic and hospital. Ryan is a very upbeat and cooperative child. He has been amazing after all he has been through. Today he is CANCER-FREE, and has been since September 17, 2013!! He does still make monthly visits for check-ups. He is doing wonderful and we are so blessed!
Ryan is a very active child who loves to play any type of sport and just be outside. He has an older sister, Kaylee, who has been very caring throughout this whole process. Many organizations has helped us through our process including Kosair Charities and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. With the help of these and St. Baldrick's, Ryan is able to get the most advanced treatment with a very positive outcome.
