My Story
Luke was an angel put on earth for a short time - 6 years. He lived each year to it's most, and taught others who encountered him more than we could have ever taught him.
People were drawn to Luke - his personality was magnetic, and his smile was contagious. He loved life, and took obstacles that cancer put in his path in stride, and actually used them to his advantage. He made friends with all the people that came to help him, and actually inspired most of those people along the way.
While his understanding and take on life was sometimes "outside of explanation", I have found that kids with cancer oftentimes have this innate wisdom in their appoach to life. He still had the loves of a small child. He loved Thomas the Train, and attempted in his short 6 years to collect every train, track, sign, and piece ever known to Thomas. He loved to make artwork - to paint, color, mold and sculpt playdough, and to make as many messes as possible. He loved to play hide and seek, run and scream around the house, and to watch Dora the Explorer. He loved stars.
Luke's spirit lives on in everyone and everything that he touched.
