My Story
Elijah is the most creative and funny 10 year old boy you could possibly meet. If it weren't for the bald hair and his mature nature, you would never know that he has been fighting cancer for over half of his young life. Elijah was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma just as he was starting pre-k. He didn't get to go to school. He has undergone countless chemotherapy sessions, radiation, two stem cell transplants, MIBG therapy, ABT751, and is currently on MLN8237.
Elijah handles every aspect of his treatment with humor and bravery. He enjoys life most when he is able to do normal kid things like climb trees and hang out with his buddies. You can't meet Elijah and not be touched by his spirit. He is a fighter.
