On Valentine’s Day 2007, our hearts were forever changed when our 4 year old son, Coby, was diagnosed with bilateral Wilms tumor. He had tumors in both of his kidneys. After 11 weeks of chemotherapy, Coby had surgery where they removed 20% of his left kidney and his entire right kidney. He then had more chemotherapy and radiation.
Coby is now 12 years old and has been off treatment for 7 and half years! He loves playing with his friends, 4 siblings and his dog, Boomer. He is an amazing little boy who we are so grateful to love on. We are thankful to our Lord, family, friends and all the staff at Children’s Hospital who have been with us every step of the way!
