My Story

In October 2010, I was diagnosed with Burkitt's Lymphoma. After emergency surgery to remove my left tonsil, I started my chemotherapy. For approximately three months, I endured physical pain and low energy. I was a trooper and stayed positive. I am now two months out from my last treatment and feeling great. My last PET scan showed the cancer gone. I will be closely monitored over the next two years. My doctors at St. Louis Children Hospital are the best and take great care of me.
