My Story

When Joey was 4 years old he went from being an active, curious little boy to one who only wanted to sleep and was not able to walk more than a few feet before needing to stop due to pain. He was diagnosed with ALL and under went just over 3 years of chemotherapy. Now as a healthy 8 year old who is in remission he is back to enjoying life to the fullest. Joey loves to create with his Legos, play video games, and read. His favorite sport is soccer which he now has the energy to be able to play once more. He is loving school and is grateful to be able to go everyday without having to worry about his blood counts. We are grateful to the many families, researchers, and doctors who have fought this cancer with incredible success. Please help Joey to pay it forward by supporting him in shaving out cancer!
