Evan is the morning star, the one among five of his brothers and sisters best equipped for this trial. His unyielding good cheer, curiosity and good will is barely dampened by the illness, and we count ourselves blessed by the good science and excellent caregivers & well wishers that surround him.
After nearly a month of being sick - and Evan is rarely sick - we discovered after Thanksgiving that Evan had Burkitts Lymphoma, an aggressive yet fortunately very treatable form of cancer. By the time of the St Baldrick's event (Mar 10) Evan will have concluded his last round of chemo at Mary Bridge Hospital in Tacoma, under the care of Dr. Thomas and his good staff. All looks well, tumors gone. The Boy is on his way to full recovery.
Let's make this true for every kid that comes down with cancer. Please join us Thurs Mar 10, donate, and celebrate Evan's good health.
